What everyone should know about being a trans ally Two people looking at a trans pride flag (Inspired by the old Scriptographic booklets from Channing Bete Co.)

Trans people are becoming more visible in society today. You may have friends or loved ones who are transgender. How can you best support them?

A person coming out as trans to other people BE KIND when a friend comes out to you as trans. They're placing a lot of trust in you!

A person reading a book RESEARCH trans issues on your own time. Be careful--ignore articles from religious sources, as they often have an anti-trans bias.

A person listening to a friend LISTEN to your trans friend and be ready to comfort them when times are tough.

A person doing research on a laptop computer LEARN about anti-trans bills in your state or province so that you can protest them effectively.

Adults interacting with children REMEMBER, trans kids need support too!

Working together, we can make the world a better place for trans people and everyone else.
