More Bess-ification of the Internet!

So Discord has jumped on the "show us your photo or ID or never view anything 18+ again" bandwagon. The very same Discord that was hacked just 5 months ago, leaving hundreds of thousands of user photos free game for creeps. I can't stress enough that, in the era of AI deepfake pornography, having people send you their face is a really bad thing. It invites sexual harassment. It connects everything you do online to your real name (the consequences of which I talked about here). There's also the fact, pointed out to me by fellow Discord users, that a lot of adults have a "baby face" and will be incorrectly flagged as kids by Discord's AI.

But even if it were "just Discord," which, as I've pointed out before, it isn't, there's still the fact that damn-near every tech CEO is in the Epstein Files. Why the fuck should I trust pedophiles to "protect the children?" Why in the name of every god humanity has ever worshiped, would I expect these people to have my best interests at heart?!

Anyway, time for everyone to unsubscribe from Nitro. The only language these people understand is money.
